1995
Start importing components for Canadian DSH sliding wardrobes.
A sliding wardrobe is a simple independent design consisting of a cabinet frame attached to the walls, usually without a rear wall, and an independent sliding door system attached to the floor and ceiling. A very simple design, which was the basis for the further development of the company's products. The key point is that all cabinets are made to fit the size. This main principle was passed on from year to year, and has been preserved to the present day, and today it is one of the main competitive advantages.
The main customers are individuals. The number of employees began with 15 people. Open 2 furniture showrooms on the street Frunze, 12 and Boychenko, 5, Kiev.
2002
Sliding wardrobes became widespread, and it became clear that they can be produced in any garage. As a result, it was decided to start the production of high-grade cabinet furniture. The first product shown at KIFF 2002 was a blue kitchen with glossy lacquered facades.
2004
A decision was made to produce furniture in the premium segment. To do this, opened a new showroom in the center of Kiev, at the address. Gorky, 16.
2005
It was marked by a victory in the tender for the implementation of the interior of the TOYOTA car salon on the street. Mechnikov, 12, Kiev. It is noteworthy that the decision was made by direct managers from Japan, and in conclusion they wrote that ELIO was the only one who understood TOYOTA's philosophy. This project was implemented at a high quality level and in the shortest possible time, and served as the basis for making a decision on moving to large public interiors. The first step towards implementation was a decision to build a new modern factory.
2006
President of TOYOTA-Ukraine Mr. Atsuya Kondo offered us the implementation of the “turnkey” stand of the TOYOTA exhibition stand at the Auto Show 2006 in Expo-Plaza, with an area of 900 m2. This was another challenge for ELIO and the next step in the quality and complexity of the products. To do this, we visited the Auto Show in Geneva, and after 3 months a huge booth with the latest TOYOTA solutions was opened in Kiev.
In May 2006, a new factory was launched with the most modern German equipment. And by the end of the year, for the first time in Ukraine, the factory switched to digital preparation and implementation of projects.
2007
The successful implementation of the TOYOTA exhibition project inspired the Japanese side to participate in the Kiev auto show of the LEXUS brand. As a result, at the Auto Show 2007 exhibition, our company created 2 full-fledged stands with a total area of 1000 m2. An interesting fact: the president of a Japanese company demanded that we sign an agreement that ELIO in Ukraine does not have the right to sell stands with anyone other than TOYOTA Ukraine.
Immediately after the exhibition, we were offered, under the terms of the contract, to build the first official LEXUS Auto Salon in the center of Kiev, the Parus business center, which was inaugurated in October 2007.
2008
LEXUS changes the concept of the booth and displays it for the first time in Geneva. After 3 months, our company created the same booth in Kiev at the Auto Show 2008.
In parallel, the company implemented a number of other comprehensive projects for private and public interiors.
The factory expanded, equipment was purchased, in particular, the stone-processing CNC complex PRUSSIANI.
At the end of 2008, a global crisis struck, and our money was blocked in Prom Invest Bank, access to which was given only after half a year.
2009
The panic in the furniture market was incredible, everything stopped. We got out of a difficult situation with the help of large projects that were started before the crisis and should have ended anyway. One of such projects was the largest furniture center “4Room” under construction in Kiev. We were able to realize furniture decoration in just 4 months. For more efficient work, we decided to engage in lean manufacturing, and held 2 sessions with Michael Wader, the best specialist in the post-Soviet space in this industry.
2010
This year preceded the final of the EURO 2012 champion. We understood that many objects for this event would be built. For this, we bought a 5-axis HOMAG multi-function machine.
2011
Significant objects were the construction of the Kharkiv Palace casino on a general contract basis, as well as the 3rd floor of the VIP zones of the NSC Olimpiysky.
2012
Due to disagreements about the future of the company with a minority partner, its share was redeemed, and 1 owner remained in the company - Yu.A. Korostylev
2013
A new era has begun in the development of ELIO. After a 5-year break, our company participated in the KIFF 2013 exhibition and showed the latest products, with a new stand format of 200 m 2. Several of our new products received awards as the best furniture in Ukraine.
